OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Icehouse “Defend This House” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of AL, DC, FL, GA, MD, NC, SC, TN, VA and WV, 21 years of age or older. Employees of MillerCoors LLC (“Sponsor”), its parent companies, divisions, dealers, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents and representatives, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, and suppliers involved in promotion, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws) and individuals residing in the same households of such individuals are not eligible. Employees of alcohol beverage retailers and distributors are also not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

2. HOW TO ENTER: Look for an official Entry Code printed inside specially-marked Icehouse packages, generally available through 12/20/09, while supplies last. Enter by Texting the Entry Code on your wireless SMS-enabled phone to 96171 between 8:00:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on 9/1/09 and 5:59:59 pm ET on 12/31/09 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). After you text the Entry Code to 96171, you will receive a reply text message asking you to indicate your date of birth (mmddyyyy) and State of residence (SS). After you reply to the text messages with an eligible date of birth and State, you will be sent a reply text message confirming entry and a code to access the football gear discount store to purchase discounted items. There is no monetary value associated with access to the discount store. Successful entry will put entrants in a State specific drawing for each participating State. If you do not reply with an eligible date of birth and State, you will not receive an entry in to the sweepstakes and you will not receive access to the football gear discount store. Standard text-message rates apply to each message sent or received. Other charges may apply; check your mobile plan for rates/details. Sponsor cannot guarantee this program will be available on all carriers. To cease receiving messages regarding the Sweepstakes, send the word STOP to short code 96171. Your entry will remain eligible for the Sweepstakes, but you will not receive future text messages except for notification if you are selected as a potential winner.

ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY: Eligible residents may text “DEFEND” to 96171 to enter without purchase. To enter without using an SMS-enabled phone or incurring text message charges, visit www.icehouse.com/defend during the Sweepstakes Period and enter the requested information.

Limit one (1) entry per person, phone number, and/or e-mail address per day from all methods of entry combined. If more than one (1) entry is received from one person in a single day, only the first entry received will be considered valid. For purposes of this promotion, a “day” is the 24 hour period between 12:00:00 am ET and 11:59:59 pm ET. All entries must be received by 5:59:59 pm ET on 12/31/09.

3. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”):

Prepaid cards are subject to terms set by the issuer. Prepaid Cards are preloaded in the amount of $1,500 and not merchant specific. Prepaid cards can be used anywhere issuer is accepted.

4. RANDOM DRAWINGS: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received from residents of each of the 10 eligible states. Random drawings to be conducted on or about 1/7/10 by The Ignition Network, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final in all matters. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. 

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Grand prize winners will be notified by mail/overnight delivery or phone for text entry and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited) within 7 days of attempted notification or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Failure to provide all required information and a signature on the documents will result in forfeiture of winner’s right to claim a prize and may be awarded to an alternate. In the event of noncompliance with these official rules, or if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.

6. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prizes are not transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of any prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Federal, state, and local taxes on prize and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of prize not specified herein are the responsibility of winner.

7. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected mail/e-mail, or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. In the event of a dispute, text entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the person who is the primary account holder responsible for the account of the wireless phone number used to enter the Sweepstakes. Sponsor not responsible for any damage to any participant’s computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these official rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user's internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user’s email account to receive e-mail. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the promotion or disqualify entrant if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the security, fairness or integrity of the promotion as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. In the event of a printing/production error, irregular code/message or computer error, neither MillerCoors LLC, its distributors, alcohol beverage retailers, affiliates, subsidiaries, printers, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, nor their respective agents and agencies shall have any liability. Liability for any irregular or damaged Entry Code is limited to replacement with another. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the promotion or the integrity and/or feasibility of the promotion is severely undermined by any event beyond Sponsor’s control, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Sponsor’s shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion without any further obligation. If Sponsor, in its discretion, elects to abbreviate the promotion as a result of a Force Majeure event, a notice will be posted on-line; In the event of cancellation Sponsor will award the prizes in a random drawing from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such Force Majeure event, providing a sufficient number of entries are received. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winners agree to hold Sponsor, their respective representatives, directors, officers, agents, divisions, dealers, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, employees and assigns (“Released Parties”), harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prizes awarded shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Wisconsin in the U.S., without respect to any conflict of law issues, and entrants agree that such shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the Federal or State Courts of Wisconsin. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical, technical, or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of prizes. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotion materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Prize supplier has no responsibilities in the conduct or administration of this Promotion.
